DAN is committed to the holistic empowerment of the indigenous communities of Nagaland by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and aptitudes needed to rise to the multifarious challenges of our times. We strive to uphold fundamental rights, create opportunities for the most vulnerable, and foster self-reliance by enabling individuals and communities to take ownership of their challenges and cultivate solutions from within.
The livelihood initiatives focus on enhancing income and resilience of the subsistence farmers through sustainable agricultural practices.

The organization works in close collaboration with educational institutions and communities across the state of Nagaland in facilitating educational support for the most vulnerable children. The key interventions include:
The healthcare interventions of the organization strive to improve healthcare outcomes for families and communities by advancing knowledge, promoting better health-seeking behaviours, and ensuring accessible, available, and affordable services for all.
Disability outreach services are carried out in the Community Based Rehabilitation Model.
DAN has been consistently engaged in child protection interventions through its various projects and programmes. Dedicated interventions have been planned and implemented through out Nagaland.
The organization reaches out to indigenous Naga women in the remote regions of the state through a host of interventions that aim to enhance women's social, economic, and political participation by addressing systemic barriers.
The organization supports individuals, families and communities through skill development and livelihoods .The focus our our interventions are to generate gainful livelihoods within the state of Nagaland focusing on agriculture as well as secondary and tertiary services.
The emergency relief support services of the organization is guided by the principles of Humanity, Neutrality and Impartiality in providing timely services to the victims to ameliorate their suffering.
The organization works in close collaboration with the communities through the 130 odd centres spread across the state of Nagaland
Training and capacity building programmes are a regular feature in our interventions. The organizational headquarters has a residential training facility wherein regular training programmes are being carried out. Apart from the organizational programmes, the training centre hosts training programmes and events by different departments, organizations and churches.
