Project Morung is a community led Child Rights Protection and promotion initiative of the organization modelled on the traditional Morung System of the Nagas. The project primarily seeks to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes for the most vulnerable sections of the targeted communities
The project intervenes directly in communities in enhancing its resilience in addressing the key challenges they face in protecting and promoting the rights of the children. Currently it reaches out 40 communities covering the districts of Tuensang, Zuneboto, Tseminiyu and Phek. The project directly engages in 9000 odd children belonging to the the targeted communities, their families, and neighbourhoods.
The project team fosters dynamic partnerships with community stakeholders and duty bearers at local, regional, and national levels, creating a unified force that champions every dimension of children's rights—from basic survival needs to vital protection, comprehensive development, and meaningful participation in decisions that shape their futures.

The skill development initiative under the project empowers out-of-school adolescents and young adults through practical skill training programs that give their lives new purpose and direction. Participants learn skills they're genuinely interested in, then choose between starting income-generating activities right away or continuing their growth through additional training with our partner organizations.
The initiative engages with the target groups to ensure holistic wellbeing of the children ensuring physical, mental, emotional and social health. Our interventions involve comprehensive health camps in collaboration with the various duty bearers in the sector.
